Artsy Play Wednesday

Artsy Play Wednesday with Capri +3

Welcome to Artsy Play Wednesday on Capri + 3 where each week blogs add links to their posts on arts, crafts and play activities for children.  I will start it out with a very simple and mess free activity.  A mom I met out in the community had a mat that used water pens to draw pictures revealing rainbow colors underneath.  I found a similar but more sturdy board using the same concept.  This one has two sides and each picture takes about five minutes to disappear.  This is perfect for the babies because one draws a picture and then I flip it over and let another one try it.  By the time that baby is done, the other side is dry ready for the third baby (and then the fourth).  They can actually sit on the couch and draw with no mess.  It is perfect travel toy.  Older kids could even play tic tac toe or other games on it.

while Ryder enjoyed the process.

Xayden had to take a taste, but this time did not have a painted face.

And now it is your turn.  I enjoyed all of the wonderful ideas posted last week.  I can't wait to see what arts, crafts and play ideas will be revealed here today.  Please add links directly to your posts (rather than your homepage) so that everyone can find your post later.  Add as many posts related to the theme as you would like.  It would be great if you would grab the Artsy Play Wednesday button and add it to your linked post (or a text link) so that your readers can see all of the great ideas.   If you enjoy what you see, feel free to leave comments on the blogs or pin the posts to read later.  You can also pin Artsy Play Wednesday so that you can easily return and see all of the creative ideas at once.  I would love to hear from you.  Your comments are always welcome.  Without further delay, it is time to inspire and be inspired.  Enjoy.

I love those tablets! We recently discovered magnadoodles and it is so nice to be able to let the boys "draw" with no help from Mommy.

Hi Christi.

We haven't tried magna doodles yet. We will have to try that. Thank you for sharing your post on play with foam shapes. That is a wonderful idea that we will have to try.
